An Elementary Office

When I saw that yesterday would have been Sherlock Holmes' 159th birthday, I wondered if I could find any Holmes-themed offices for the first Writing Spaces post of 2013.

Imagine my surprise and delight, then, to discover an actual Sherlock Holmes museum, complete with recreations of Holmes and Watson's offices (leave it to the Brits).

Here's one of Holmes' desks, complete with chemistry set, very steampunky-looking microscope, and a measuring tape that's right out of "Today's Featured Items" on etsy.

Here you can see Holmes' violin, as well as a nice look at the two-toned gold and violet wall (awesome)

The whole room!
I am especially jealous of that cozy fireplace and the squashy armchair
